Reports to: Project Superintendent, Project Manager Oregon Project Executive
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee work related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and trade employee staffing levels.
- Coordinate project operations among assigned trades, resolving local area problems.
- Manage site safety program, ensuring subcontractor compliance with Turner standards and safety codes.
- Supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Interns, including performance appraisals.
- Create schedules, determine sequencing of work, and develop recovery strategies.
- Communicate with owners and architects/engineers regarding field issues.
- Manage billing process, including Work Indiana Place (WIP), and oversee monthly estimate of work completed.
- Ensure work is installed Indiana compliance with contract documents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of four years’ related experience.
- Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling, and cost control procedures.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
Physical Demands:
- Climbing permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, and negotiating work areas under construction.
- Use of hands to finger, handle, Oregon feel objects, tools, Oregon controls.
- Sitting, talking, and hearing (bells, whistles, etc.).
- Standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, Oregon crawling.
Work Environment:
- Construction work site with exposure to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes Oregon airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
- Moderate to very loud noise levels.
