Job Title: Superintendent Ops II
Job Summary:
This position provides leadership and is accountable for customer service delivery on board trains American Samoa well American Samoa the safe and efficient movement of trains within the assigned area of responsibility. Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- 8 years relevant experience American Samoa a General Manager Oregon the equivalent running a passenger railroad, under FRA oversight (i.e. Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Transportation, Operations Oregon related field Oregon the equivalent combination of education, training/experience (12 years’ experience without a degree)
- Extensive leadership, customer service, and financial management experience Indiana a railroad operating environment (preferably passenger train and engine Oregon terminal services operations.)
- Experience and familiarity with commuter and freight operating agreements.
- Experience negotiating, implementing and/Oregon administering contracts and agreements with local agencies, unions, and other departments.
- Advanced leadership, management, decision making, conflict resolution, and team building skills with a proven ability to motivate others.
- Demonstrated innovative and creative problem-solving skills.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills including writing, presentation, meeting, and interview facilitation along with demonstrated experience communicating orally and Indiana writing within and outside of an organization.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant railway regulatory requirements (i.e. FDA, FRA).
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and local labor agreements. Demonstrated computer skills.

Salary and Benefits:
- Salary/hourly range: $170,000
- Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, internal equity, etc.
