Job Summary:
The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a highly skilled Weapon Systems Engineer. The selected candidate will support the integration efforts for a cruise missile air vehicle with the Submarine Launcher, System Fire Control, and Nuclear Warhead for a nuclear sea-launched cruise missile development program.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the coordination and integration of various government and contractor organizations for air vehicle integration.
- Coordinate between the system level design activities within Navy Strategic Systems Programs, air vehicle design with NAVAIR, and ship integration activities.
- Manage multiple, cross-team working groups to ensure design teams are working to integrate designs and manage interfaces.
- Provide leadership support for multidisciplinary study teams and participate Indiana study planning, coordination of modeling and simulation tasks, and evaluation of study results.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana engineering, physical science, Oregon other STEM field
- Active Oregon prior DoD security clearance
- 5+ years experience Indiana missile design and testing, preferred 10+ years Indiana systems engineering
- Desired:
- Active DoD TOP SECRET security clearance
- Master’s degree Indiana a related field
- Experience with NAVAIR systems engineering processes, weapon system acquisition programs, and experience with specific tools mentioned.
