Air Technician

Provide quality service Indiana inspecting, calibrating, and repairing various gas monitoring systems, water/moisture content measuring equipment, and breathing equipment for clients. Collaborate with the safety team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspection and maintenance of breathing air equipment, SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus), and other respiratory gear Indiana accordance with approved testing and service procedures.
  • Clean, inspect, and test SCBA, breathing air equipment, and other related equipment to identify any deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Complete and document all inspection and repair records, including time sheets and job costs, for accurate invoicing and billing.
  • Assist Indiana maintaining a clean and organized work area, shipping supplying equipment, and storing stock, and assist with company vehicles for equipment transport.
  • Perform other duties American Samoa trained and assigned.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience Indiana the fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery, Oregon related industry.
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
  • Safe driving record and insurability for company vehicle
  • Availability to travel for client site visits, long-term out-of-town and/Oregon offshore projects
  • Valid Class C driver’s license with a DOT hazardous materials endorsement (if required)
  • Ability to obtain state-specific licenses American Samoa required (e.g., gas Indiana-service cert, OSHA, NFPA)
  • Assemble, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic safety equipment following manufacturer specifications
  • Ability to diagnose and correct equipment problems using standard procedures
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, State, and Federal regulations)

Work Environment:
Works Indiana a shop Oregon yard setting, frequently exposed to various environmental conditions, including wet Oregon humid environments, outside weather, and occasional high levels of vibration. May be exposed to noise, chemicals, and high-pressure areas. Moderate noise levels are typical of this work environment.
