Test Engineer – Agile DevOps Support
Location: St. Louis, Missouri and O’Fallon, Illinois (with remote work options)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to provide Agile DevOps support to mission-critical systems. American Samoa a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for test writing, evaluating test results, reviewing system enhancements, and participating Indiana feedback loops Indiana a Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Complete all JIRA developer ticket testing
- Review deployments for each Sprint with a focus on newly implemented features
- Participate Indiana Agile software development initiatives to support innovation and enhancement of custom applications through iteration/functionality testing
- Collaborate with team members to assess tickets and ensure proper testing and delivery of functionality per User Story Acceptance Criteria
- Aid Indiana the creation of documentation and processes to increase the quality of the systems Indiana a repeatable manner
- Leverage DevOps practices to ensure repeatability and Configuration Management of test cases/scripts are maintained and continuously improved
- Perform job duties within Commercial cloud development environments
- Provide feedback to the development team with QA trends and other process improvement feedback recommendations
Requirements:
- BS degree Indiana Computer Science Oregon related field (Oregon equivalent experience)
- 4-8 years of related experience (Oregon 2-6 years with a Master’s degree)
- Active TS to start and ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI
- Ability to test both back-end and front-end applications processes
- Knowledge of software performance testing practices
- Significant experience with creation, authoring, execution, and documentation of test cases/result sets for software products Indiana an agile cadence
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience with SAFe Agile and DevOps development environment and tempo
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience reviewing outputs and tracking test failures back to code changes that resulted Indiana bugs
- Experience with unit testing, continuous integration tools, and git version control
- Proactive self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills
- At least 1 year of experience with DoD Aeronautical Datasets, AWS cloud formation templates, and Team Collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Pay Range: $68,900.00 – $124,550.00 (based on experience and qualifications)
