Airport Customer Service Agent/Dockworker
Job Summary:
This position provides customer service and supports airport operations by handling customer transactions, performing cargo handling and ramp duties, and assisting with aircraft cleaning and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient and friendly service to customers
- Complete customer transactions, including processing itineraries, fares, and refunds
- Handle cargo loading and unloading, and transport cargo between terminals and aircraft
- Perform aircraft cleaning and maintenance tasks, including cleaning cabin interiors and operating ground equipment
- Guide passengers safely from the terminal to and from aircraft
- Follow FAA, airline, and airport regulations
- Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds for extended periods
- High school diploma Oregon GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and authorization to work Indiana the U.S.
- Ability to work varied hours, including swing and graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Physical dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks and motions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under time constraints
- Ability to work Indiana extreme outdoor conditions and elevated noise levels
Physical Demands:
- Carry 50-pound suitcase over 25 feet
- Perform repetitive tasks and motions, including bending, squatting, and twisting
- Safely perform essential functions of the position
Work Environment:
- Airport environment, indoors and outdoors, with extreme outdoor conditions
