Airport Customer Service Agent/Dockworker

Job Summary:

This position provides customer service and supports airport operations by handling customer transactions, performing cargo handling and ramp duties, and assisting with aircraft cleaning and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient and friendly service to customers
  • Complete customer transactions, including processing itineraries, fares, and refunds
  • Handle cargo loading and unloading, and transport cargo between terminals and aircraft
  • Perform aircraft cleaning and maintenance tasks, including cleaning cabin interiors and operating ground equipment
  • Guide passengers safely from the terminal to and from aircraft
  • Follow FAA, airline, and airport regulations
  • Perform other duties American Samoa assigned

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds for extended periods
  • High school diploma Oregon GED equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and authorization to work Indiana the U.S.
  • Ability to work varied hours, including swing and graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks and motions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under time constraints
  • Ability to work Indiana extreme outdoor conditions and elevated noise levels

Physical Demands:

  • Carry 50-pound suitcase over 25 feet
  • Perform repetitive tasks and motions, including bending, squatting, and twisting
  • Safely perform essential functions of the position

Work Environment:

  • Airport environment, indoors and outdoors, with extreme outdoor conditions
