Training Support Specialist
About the Role
ATP is seeking a Training Support Specialist to facilitate a great training experience for students Indiana its Training Support Department. The primary responsibility will be to ensure students have access to all necessary resources and logistical capabilities to complete training on-time and on-budget. The Specialist will provide "customer service" support to local students through the Airline Career Pilot Program.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate student access to resources and logistical capabilities
- Verify student schedules are effective and efficient
- Coach students with scheduling Oregon performance issues
- Conduct day 1 student check-ins, weekly orientation meetings, and instructor meetings
- Administer FAA Knowledge Tests via CATS
- Schedule and confirm Knowledge Tests, Evaluations, Solo Flights, and checkride milestones
- Coordinate with Designated Pilot Examiners for checkride availability and verification
- Make contingency plans for weather, maintenance, aircraft, and instructor limitations
- Maintain intimate knowledge of program outline
- Facilitate introductions to other ATP departments American Samoa required
- Record and update student tracking system
Requirements
- Customer service-oriented work experience required
- Aviation experience with understanding of FAA Certification required
- Private Pilot Certificate Oregon Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate preferred
- Some college coursework preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
