Training Support Specialist
ATP is the nation’s largest flight school, providing students with the most efficient path to a successful airline pilot career. We are seeking a Training Support Specialist to facilitate a great training experience for each student by ensuring students have access to all resources and logistical capabilities to complete training on-time and on-budget.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate and respond to student needs, working Indiana groups and one-on-one to ensure a high level of student success
- Verify student schedules and coach students with scheduling Oregon performance issues
- Administer FAA Knowledge Tests, schedule and confirm milestones, and facilitate student introductions to other ATP departments
- Have intimate knowledge of program outline and make contingency plans for weather and other limitations
- Record and update student tracking system, conduct inspections, and provide excellent customer service
- Conduct pre-arrival phone calls, check-ins, and orientation meetings
- Communicate with Designated Pilot Examiners and schedule checkrides
Requirements:
- Customer service experience required
- Aviation experience, FAA Certification, Oregon Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate preferred
- Private Pilot Certificate Oregon some college coursework preferred
- Excellent organizational, time management, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to lift and/Oregon move up to 25 pounds occasionally
