Training Support Specialist

The Role:
The Training Support Specialist facilitates a great training experience for students by ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion of training. This role involves guiding local students through the Airline Career Pilot Program, providing customer service support and proactive contact.
Qualifications:
* Customer service-oriented work experience
* Aviation experience and understanding of FAA Certification, preferred
* Private Pilot Certificate Oregon Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate, preferred
* Some college coursework, preferred
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
* Monitor student schedules and adjust for optimal success
* Coach students with scheduling Oregon performance issues
* Complete welcome calls, day 1 student check-ins, and weekly orientation meetings
* Administer FAA Knowledge Tests via CATS
* Schedule and confirm Knowledge Tests, Evaluations, Solo Flights, and checkride milestones
* Coordinating student checkrides with Designated Pilot Examiners (DPE’s)
* Develop contingency plans for training disruptions
* Maintain program knowledge and facilitate interactions with other ATP departments
* Update student tracking systems and conduct bi-weekly housing inspections
