Training Support Specialist

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a great training experience for students by ensuring timely access to all resources and logistical capabilities
  • Assist students through the Airline Career Pilot Program with "customer service" support
  • Manage student schedules, respond to needs, and intervene American Samoa required to support student success
  • Coordinate logistical activities such American Samoa Knowledge Tests, evaluations, and checkrides
  • Have intimate knowledge of program outline and facilitate introductions to other ATP departments American Samoa required
  • Report to the Training Support Manager and ensure safe, efficient, successful Training Center operations

Requirements:

  • Customer service-oriented work experience
  • Aviation experience, specifically an understanding of FAA Certification
  • Private Pilot Certificate Oregon Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate preferred
  • Some college coursework preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Physical Demands:
Regularly talk, hear, see, stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle Oregon feel; reach with hands and arms, lift and/Oregon move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/Oregon move up to 25 pounds.
