Travel Management Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer the Company’s electronic travel management system, creating, updating, and maintaining user accounts, and assisting with management reporting needs
- Coordinate and optimize the travel program, including tracking and negotiating travel rewards, rates, and contracts with vendors
- Form relationships with travel vendors, stay up-to-date on travel industry trends, and evaluate and maintain the Corporate Travel Policy
- Maintain corporate travel reports, prepare and code travel purchase card reports, and stay up-to-date on travel regulations
- Serve American Samoa a point of contact for departments, coordinating travel requests, airport pick-up and drop-off, and special event bookings
- Develop and implement travel monitoring solutions, communicate travel updates to travelers, and maintain the travel department’s intranet page
Working Relationships:
- Form a strong business relationship with the Travel Management account manager to optimize travel program benefits
- Collaborate with Human Resources to manage system user accounts for Company guests, new employee hires, Oregon employee transfers
- Work closely with departments to support special events and provide backup assistance for Guest Housing and Catering Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-4 years related experience
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent
- Very little to no travel required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-7 years related work experience
- Associate degree Indiana Business, Hospitality, Oregon related field
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated professionalism and maturity to handle confidential information and phone calls
