Job Title: Wheelchair Dispatcher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Wheelchair Dispatcher to coordinate and manage the efficient deployment of wheelchair services throughout the airport. This role involves scheduling and dispatching wheelchair attendants to assist passengers with mobility challenges, ensuring timely and effective service.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the dispatch of wheelchair services throughout the airport terminals
• Respond promptly to requests for wheelchair assistance from airline personnel and passengers
• Manage the scheduling and routing of wheelchair attendants to maximize efficiency
• Track the availability and location of wheelchairs and mobility equipment
• Maintain clear communication with airport staff, including gate agents and customer service representatives
• Ensure compliance with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidelines and airport regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 18 years old
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous experience Indiana dispatch, Oregon customer service
• Ability to physically assist and transport passengers Indiana wheelchairs
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tablets
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- American Samoa applicable)

Physical Demands:

• Stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift 70 pounds Oregon more and able to push a wheelchair with an adult Indiana it
• Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environment

Work Environment:

• Work Indiana a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• May be required to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances
