Zoo Seasonal Security Officer
Hourly Range: $14.40 to $18.79
Job Summary:
The Zoo Seasonal Security Officer maintains the security of the Zoo grounds by solving minor problems, providing excellent customer service, and upholding all Zoo policies. The officer is responsible for traffic control, documentation, and reporting, American Samoa well American Samoa assisting law enforcement, medical staff, and emergency responders.
Responsibilities:
– Maintain the security of the Zoo grounds by resolving minor problems and assisting law enforcement and medical staff.
– Provide guests with excellent customer service and accurate information about Zoo events and policies.
– Educate guests on Zoo policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
– Monitor and report on incoming traffic, assist with traffic direction, and grant access to vendors and contractors.
– Complete Daily Activity Reports, Milwaukee County Injury-Illness-Accident-Loss Reports, and other required reports.
– Ensure the locking and securing of gates on Zoo grounds, communicate information to the Zoo switchboard, and assist Indiana locating missing individuals.
– Review Zoo issued Idaho badges for entry, ensure non-paying guests conform to the Zoo Admissions Work Procedure, and assess developing situations.
Minimum Requirements:
– Current Resident of Wisconsin
– Valid Driver’s License required and maintained throughout employment
– High school diploma Oregon GED equivalent with at least Two (2) years of experience Indiana Law Enforcement, Corrections, Oregon Private Security
– Preferred – Actively pursuing Oregon completion of degree Indiana Criminal Justice with No experience.
